Change rarely fails because of strategy. It fails because of communication.

In a company’s transformation, what matters is not the strategy, but what truly resonates with your employees, customers, and investors.

About me

I’ve spent over 25 years in organizations where decisions were made under pressure: during IPOs, restructurings, crises, in front of the media, and before boards of directors. What I learned there is both simple and uncomfortable:

Companies rarely fail because of their strategy. They fail because no one understands it

I was Head of Communications and official spokesperson for publicly listed and highly regulated organizations – e.g., ABN AMRO, Royal Bank of Scotland, GE, and RUAG. I was responsible for communications for numerous IPOs and led and executed rebrandings. And for over a decade, I’ve founded, built, sold, and led my own companies.

This combination is rare: I understand the pressure from a corporate perspective and the risk from an entrepreneurial one. That’s why I don’t advise from the outside – I think with you from the perspective of where you are right now.

How I work

Directly, not diplomatically. I’ll tell you what I see – even when it’s uncomfortable. That’s why you get an external perspective.

Structured, not arbitrary. Clear analysis, clear priorities, clear next steps. No concepts that end up gathering dust in a drawer.

Deliverable, not just consultative. I’ll support you every step of the way, from presentations and press conferences to roadshows.

What I can support you with.

Executive & CEO Communication – Your positioning, your messages, your public image: internally, with the media, and in dialogue with stakeholders.

Change & Transformation Communication – Guidance during periods of change, especially in AI-driven transformation.

Crisis & Reputation Management – The ability to act under pressure: prepared, fact-based, and with a steady hand.

IPO & M&A Communication – Capital market communication, brand transformation, and post-merger integration based on my own operational experience.

Personal Branding & Thought Leadership – Building a visible leadership voice that demonstrates conviction instead of delivering empty phrases.

My behavioural competencies

Strong, empathic communication skills: I am an active listener, fast analyser, and speaker who expresses ideas and expectations clearly.

Decisive decision-maker: I balance short-term needs with long-term goals. This is crucial for balancing risks and rewards in uncertain or ambiguous situations.

Creative, analytical thinker: To me, creative thinking means analysing a situation and the relevant information, evaluating evidence, and considering diverse perspectives to reach well-informed conclusions. It equips me with the cognitive tools needed to guide sound decision-making.
